The Foundation is committed to improving the quality of life for people who suffer paralysis as a result of spinal cord injuries. Monies will go to support spinal cord research and to assist paralyzed individuals with financial support for rehabilitation, medical costs, and assisting devices.

Dear Volunteer,
Our sincerest thanks for volunteering for this year’s Race to Recovery benefiting the Bret Neylon Paralysis Foundation, Inc. We are very happy you have chosen to be with us as we assist our paralysis candidates! 

Volunteer assignment info
: Below you will find a spreadsheet listing all available committees; this includes the name of each leader and his/her contact information. If you have NOT been advised as to which committee you will be serving, please contact me directly.

Volunteer T- shirts:
  Please wear your t-shirt from last year if you have one.  We ordered a limited number of new volunteer t-shirts of various sizes and will be giving them to individuals in the following assignments: registration, course direction and water stops.  Parking volunteers will be wearing a reflective vest.

Race-day arrival time: Please arrive as early as possible and check-in at the volunteer desk to ensure we have enough volunteers for each assignment location.  This is very import! There may be some last minute re-assignments based on specific needs.  The following are the latest check-in times for volunteer assignments:
            Set-up – 5:30 am
            Parking – 5:45 am
            Registration - 6:00 am (registration starts at 7:00 am)
            Course directions – 7:00 am
            Water stops – 7:00 am                       

Friday stuffing
– Friday at 5 pm (or as soon after as you can arrive)

Please feel free to call and/or email me with any questions or concerns. Additionally, if you find out you cannot volunteer, please let me know ASAP.  As a reminder, we can still use additional volunteers!
